Making an Outer Banks Sassy Seafood Boil:


18 Small red potatoes
12 medium white onions, whole, but peeled12 ears corn 3 inch long
2-3 lbs. raw shrimp in the shell (or crawfish, crab, etc.)
1 Package of Sassy Seafood boil

DIRECTIONS:  Prepare a large pot with 1 gal. water, add 3Tbls of salt and bring to boil. Dump in package of Julia's Pantry Outer Banks S
eafood Boil and add potatoes.  Boil 6 minutes, then add onions. Bring to a boil for 2 minutes, then add corn. Boil for 12 minutes, add shrimp and boil for 2-3 minutes depending on size of shrimp. Remove from heat and pour off liquid. When seafood is done, cover a picnic table with four to five layers of newspaper. Remove everything from pot, drain, and spread in center of table. Gather everyone around and enjoy the feast.  Serve with Julia's Pantry's  drop biscuits, hushpuppies or cornbread.

When everyone has had their fill, gather up the leftovers (if there is any), put all the scraps in the center of the table, roll up the newspaper around them, and put them in the trash. Go wash the one pot and the cleanup is done. 

Finish off the feast with one of our deliciously simple fruit cobbler mixes and coffee.

Sprinkle Outer Banks Seafood Boil over beer steamed seafood, too.  The boil brings out the natural sweetness of the seafood.
