Julias'a Sassy Dip Mixes are delicious as an all around and every seasoning, too. That's right!  The outstanding dip mixes that we all know and love are equally as essential in everyday cooking.

Try it in meatloaf, casseroles, soups/stews, fondues, sauces, pastas, red beans and rice, as a vinagrette or bread dip.  Plus you can mix it with cream cheese, sour cream, greek yogurt, mayonnaise, butter, olive oil... the sky's the limit with Sassy.

Julia's Sassy Roasted Garlic Dip Mix Recipes

Basic Recipe:

1 packet of Sassy Roasted Garlic Dip Mix with any of these or a combination of this items.

 2 - 8oz packages of cream cheese (for more "Sass", use 1 package, for less "Sass" , use 3 packages), OR
Greek Yogurt, OR
Sour Cream, OR
Olive Oil, OR
Butter, OR
Mayonnaise

You can stop here and enjoy a tasty snack or spread on wraps, bagels, sandwiches or with pretzels, crackers or chips.  Sassy Roasted Garlic Dip can be served hot or cold with one of these Sassy and delicious recipes:

Sassy Cheesesteak Sandwiches

Make basic recipe and add,

1 cup of leftover beef (roast, London Broil, chopped deli roast beef)
2 TBS chopped onion*
1
/3 cup chopped green bell pepper*
1/3 cup chopped red pepper*
1/2 cup shredded provolone cheese
Chopped mushrooms*

(* may saute)

Directions:

Mix all these ingredients together.  Spread generously on hoagie rolls, heat and serve.  Other serving options:  Serve as a hot dip with toasted french bread pieces.  Serve cold as spread with crackers, pretzels or bagels.

 Sassy Italian Dip

Make basic recipe and add,

1 8oz ricotta cheese, mix well.

Add: Favorite pizza toppings (bacon, sausage, ham, mini pepperoni, chicken, olives, peppers, onions, mushrooms, diced tomatoes, etc.)

Directions:

Spread mix into casserole dish, top with an italian cheese blend, bake at 350 degrees until thoroughly heated.  Serve with french bread, toast, etc.

 Sassy Veggie Dip

Make basic recipe and add:

1/2 - 3/4 cup of finely chopped fresh or canned (and drained) veggies (carrots, broccoli, yellow squash, zucchini, tomatoes, corn, olives, peppers, eggplant, etc.)  For variation, mix in a can of drained beans (black, kidney, chick peas, etc.)

Serving Suggestions:  As a dip, serve with pretzels, crackers or tortilla chips.  As a spread, serve on bagels, crackers, or flat out wraps for pinwheels.

 

Sassy Shrimp & Bacon Bake

Make basic recipe and add:

1 cup of Hormel Real Bacon Bits
6oz can of shrimp or 1- 1/2 cup of thawed, cocktail shrimp (*substitute shrimp for crab meat)
Chopped onion
Diced fresh or canned (and drained) tomatoes

Mix well. Pour into an oven-safe casserole dish.  Bake at 350 degrees until hot.  Serve on toasted baguettes, pita chips or crackers.

 Julia's Garlic Cheese Drop Biscuits

Combine Julia's Buttermilk Drop Biscuit Mix with 1/2 package of Julia's Sassy Roasted Garlic Dip & Seasoning Mix and approximately 1/2 - 3/4 cup of finely shredded sharp cheddar cheese.  Stir in water stated on biscuit recipe (may need to slightly increase for added ingredients - you just want the mix moist).  Bake according to instructions.  Outstanding!  Just like garlic cheddar biscuits served at Red Lobster.  

 Sassy Garlic Cheese Grits

Using Julia's Organic Yellow Grits, cook according to directions.  When grits are done, stir in 1-2 cups of shredded cheese and a 1/2 pkg of Julia's Sassy Roasted Garlic Dip and Seasoning Mix.
